ORRA members to be suspended for failure to comply with Code of Ethics requirementORRA members who failed to comply with the National Association of REALTORS’® mandatory Code of Ethics training requirement will be suspended next week. If you are a member, and your membership status has been suspended, the following services will no longer be available to you: ORRA
- SUPRA key access
Since SUPRA key access is contingent upon being an “active” member in good standing, your SUPRA key access will be suspended.
- "Members Only" functions of www.orlrealtor.com
You will not be able to log into the "Members Only" functions of the ORRA website to pay invoices, print receipts, order supplies, register for classes, or use Forms Online Gold.
- MLS (Brokers only)
If you are the principal MLS participating broker, your personal MLS access, as well as the access for your entire office, will be suspended. You will need to contact MFRMLS directly to reapply for MLS services as a "Thompson broker." For more information, please see below.
FAR
All services provided by FAR, including, but not limited to, Transaction Desk, Forms Online Gold, IDX, Forms Basic, Legal Hotline, and MLS Advantage, will be suspended. NAR
On NAR's website, www.realtor.org, you will only be able to access the Code of Ethics class online. To resume these services and avoid termination, you must complete NAR's free, online ethics course by March 1, 2009, and have your membership status reset to "active." If you do not complete the course by March 1, 2009 your membership in all 3 associations will be terminated. (There is no reimbursement of 2009 dues.) If you have already completed your Code of Ethics training between January 2005-December 2008 OR when you complete the course, please contact us with proof of completion so we can update your record. In the classroom:
ORRA will be offering ethics classes live and in person on the following dates. The classes, to be held at ORRA (1330 Lee Road), will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $35.00.
- Monday, January 26; 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Saturday, January 31; 9 a.m. to noon
- Tuesday, February 10; noon to 3 p.m.
- Thursday, February 12; 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Tuesday, February 24; noon to 3 p.m.

If you are an agent in the office and you remain licensed with a member broker, you will be reverted to a non-member salesperson status. In accordance with NAR policy,your broker will be assessed the $380.00 non member fee for you regardless of whether you have paid your 2009 personal REALTOR® dues. Brokers
