Leadership election results are approved by ORRA board
Kathleen Gallagher-McIver, RE/MAX Town & Country Realty, and Gary Balanoff, RE/MAX Select, in October will step into place as ORRA's president-elect and vice president, respectively. Both candidates ran unopposed in the association’s 2008-2009 leadership election, which was held in July and coincided with ORRA’s annual REALTOR® Expo and Election Luncheon. Read more
June sees positive signs in multiple market indicators
Indicators that Orlando’s housing market is marching toward a balance continued their onward progression in June, led by a four-month decline in inventory that has resulted in a 46.18 percent decrease in the months-of-supply since January.

DBPR ups the ante in order to go from agent to broker
Beginning July 1, DBPR will require two years of active licensure as a sales associate in order to become a real estate broker. Previously, only one year was required. Read more
MFRMLS releases new rule on short sale disclosure

Quadrennial Code of Ethics
requirements cycle back in
It’s coming up on that time again! Any Realtor® who has NOT taken an approved ethics class since January 1, 2005 must complete a refresher class by December 31, 2008. Read more
Notice: New schedule for ORRA application workshops
Beginning June 3, application workshops for new members are now being held on Tuesday at 1:30 pm and Fridays at 9:00 am. Supra D-KEY training classes will immediately follow the workshop.
